Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is a two-step verification method you use alongside your username and password to authorise a login. To authorise your login, you’ll need to install an MFA app on your smartphone. Download the instruction on how to set it up.
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one via wachtwoordvergeten.hu.nl/forgotpassword.
Questions about your student card
We no longer provide you with a tangible student card. Your student card will only be available digitally.
Within a few days after fully completing your enrolment and uploading your photo in Osiris (see below), you will find your digital student card in myHU. The uploaded photo does not need to be an official passport photo. Just make sure your face is clearly visible.
To check out your student card, visit my.hu.nl in your browser or open the myHU-app (Android and iOS). Go to the tab More > My Profile > Student card.
You can upload your photo in Osiris:
- Go to My details
- Select Personal details
- Choose Edit > Edit passport photo
Questions about your group allocation
Group allocations and class schedules are handed out during the introduction of your study programme. Most programmes organise their introductions at the end of August. In myHU you can find more information about when and where the introduction of your programme will take place. Go to the Start Study information about your programme in myHU.
As a rule, it’s not possible to switch groups. Only on a few occasions will it be allowed. An exception can only be made after consultation with the contact person of your study programme. If you don’t know who your contact person is, please contact STIP.
