Over the past few years, many of our students and staff have taken the opportunity to spend time at one of our partner institutions (both Erasmus+ and non-Erasmus+), and we have welcomed many in return.

Exchange agreements

Students are encouraged to complete part of their degree programme abroad at one of our foreign partner institutions. HU has built up an extensive network of partner institutions around the world that accept our students on an exchange basis. Around 200 of these partnerships are through an Erasmus+ Inter Institutional Agreement.

Currently, we have exchange agreements with nearly 200 partner institutions around the globe.

Conversely, international students can apply for an exchange period at HU as well. We offer a large range of English-taught exchange programmes. Please have a look at our exchange programmes for more information.

Erasmus+

HU is the proud holder of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) 2021-2027. This enables our students and staff to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme. Visit our Erasmus+ page for more about the grants and partner institutions.

Research

Through its practice-based research, HU contributes to solutions for a wide range of societal issues. Issues submitted by our partners working in the field – at regional, national and international levels.
