Located in the cities of Utrecht and Amersfoort, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht is anchored in a dynamic region with a strong economic motor and many skilled professionals. HU is part of Utrecht Science Park. Here we gather competences from business, industry and academia in order to design and create healthier, safer and more sustainable cities for the present and future generations. We collaborate intensively with major and small businesses, social organisations, knowledge institutions and governmental authorities, with a focus on co-creation and co-production.

Furthermore, HU is partner in the Economic Board Utrecht, where regional stakeholders work together on translating society’s demands for healthy living in the Utrecht region into more jobs and investment opportunities.

Through our graduates, but also our research and other investments, our university of applied science is an invaluable factor in the region's competitive power and the welfare of its population.
