Research group Youth
How can we create an environment in which young people are able to grow up in a healthy, promising and safe way? The Research group Youth develops and shares knowledge on this subject with professionals, young people, parents, lecturers, students and administrators. We also facilitate the application of this knowledge. The research group is active locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Education
We contribute in various ways to educational programmes in the fields of educational theory, social work and security. We actively cooperate with the institutes for Ecological Pedagogy, Social Work, Nursing Studies, Law, the Archimedes Institute and the Seminarium for Orthopedagogics. In this way, we contribute to the innovation and upkeep of the degree programmes for professionals in the youth sector.
“We need an integrated approach to youth care, youth policy, education and career supervision to offer children and young people the best development opportunities possible. Ultimately, this all contributes to a society with a high quality of life for all children and young people”
Saskia A.M. Wijsbroek Professor
