Innovatielab Life Sciences and Chemistry
The Innovation Lab (iLab) Life Sciences & Chemistry at Utrecht Science Park contributes to innovation. We collaborate with the private sector (start-ups, SMEs and major firms), associations, foundations and knowledge institutes on applied research.
The iLab shares lab facilities, staff and equipment with its partners and assigns students and researchers to practice-based research projects. At the iLab, private companies (often start-ups) and knowledge partners work together on the development of innovative testing methods and analyses.
Expertise
The staff members of the HU’s iLab have extensive experience with advanced tissue culture techniques, immunochemistry and the analysis of substances found in complex matrices. iLab Life Sciences & Chemistry is part of the national iLabs network supported by the government’s Chemical & LSH ‘Topsector’ programme.
The Utrecht Science Park Innovation Lab Life Sciences & Chemistry is part of HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Research group Innovative Testing in Life Sciences & Chemistry).
