After studying Business Information Technology, Anita Bosman MMI decided to focus on the marketing side of her field, taking the interface between Business and IT as a point of departure. As a board member of the Ngi-NGN platform for IT professionals, she works to promote the professionalisation of this group and raise their profile.

Anita sits on the e-CF working group, which aims to set up a framework that can be used to achieve greater uniformity within subject clusters and professional profiles in the IT sector. She also serves as a programme manager for the Master of Informatics degree programme. She has succeeded in making this programme flexible and modular in the context of Life-long Learning, based on the profiles developed by the e-CF working group. Within her Research group, Anita aims to establish a connection between education and developments within the profession at the competence level.

Anita Bosman has served as Director of the Institute for IT since September 2018. This appointment safeguards the Institute’s continuing development. Bosman has worked for the Institute for over five years and has been a member of its management team since 2014. Her experience, vision and spirit of enterprise will undoubtedly allow the Institute increase its relevance to society even further.
